About Megan…

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Megan has a passion for her local community and new arrivals. She graduated from California State University, San Marcos in 2013 with her BS in Management-Entrepreneurship. She had a jewelry business for years and is excited to be back in the sparkly game!

When not working on the business, she is a full-time stylist for Stitch Fix and volunteers her time to the refugee community and her church. She can also be found chasing around her pup, Alastor, or watching, reading, or talking about Harry Potter.

Megan has been very committed to supporting refugee families... She has been especially invested in economic empowerment for refugee women... [Her] efforts have made a huge difference in the lives of resettling Syrian families.

About the Syrian Refugee Women…

In January 2017, Megan become connected with her first Syrian refugee family. Since then, she has bonded with many Syrian refugee women in San Diego County. As these women are settling into their new lives here, they are struggling to enter the workforce for the first time ever.

These women are kind, passionate, talented and excited to work and share their stories.
