Business with a Mission

After connecting with the local Syrian refugee community in San Diego in early 2017, designer Megan Reynolds found “her people.” Now, the women in these refugee families need to enter the workforce for the first time.

Megan works with these women to develop skills and produce all the jewelry designs for Jamila Collective.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Every piece from the Jamila Collective is made with the highest quality Swarovski® crystals, sterling silver, stainless steel, and silver fill.

Our Syrian refugee women that work for us create each piece with care in San Diego, CA.

Megan designs each Jamila Collective piece to be timeless and versatile for your wardrobe for years to come.

New Bonds Formed

Megan is a San Diego native who has always loved giving back. When she first connected with the Syrian refugee community at the beginning of 2017, she instantly found “her people” and fell in love with the kind and passionate spirits of the Syrian women she met.

Through food, tea, and long chats (even with language barriers), Megan bonded with these Syrian women and has learned so much about their journeys to America. This business is another way to share their experiences from war to refugee camps to new immigrants in America.
